日本財務省10月31日公布，9月29日~10月27日之間共計投入6兆3,499億日圓干預日圓匯率，約當430億美元，總規模是自1991年有紀錄以來的歷史新高。
日本政府10月投入的規模，是9月2兆8,382億日圓的2.34倍，9月當時是24年來首度採取拋售美元同時買入日圓進行干預措施，預期未來將會對外匯進行干預。
